Big deal. If wireless carriers can deliver high-speed home broadband, then every major market in the country immediately becomes competitive.

The grey areas below currently do not have broadband available through Verizon Fios.

Battle Royale. Just a few years back the location of your home basically decided the quality of your pay-TV and broadband experience. Now you have upstarts like Hulu and YouTube TVlaunching pay-TV packages nationwide along with traditional providers like Comcast potentially going outside of their footprint.

We may not be that far away from consumers nationwide having a choice between 10+ pay-TV providers and 5+broadband providers.
