Nielsen Adds TV Meters To 140 Markets With Paper Diaries

By April 10, 2018No Comments

Much needed upgrade to the paper diaries.

140 markets will get 15k meters in 7k homes. Roughly 100 meters per market.

All 210 markets will have electronic measurement.

100 meters per market will improve age/gender demos, but custom tv ratings (customer data) at the market level will still be a challenge due to the sample size.

Interesting stat. 25% of broadcast viewership in February came from an antenna. How high does that go with cord cutting/shaving?
