CNN Plans to Offer Subscriptions for Digital News Next Year

CNN plans to launch a two-tiered digital subscription offering in Q2–2018.

Estimated digital revenue:
1) 2017: $370m
2) 2022: $1b (↑ 170%)

CNN costs the average pay-TV subscriber $0.78/month and could possibly charge a much higher amount in a direct-to-consumer model.
