Bama-FSU: ESPN’s highest-rated, most-streamed kickoff game ever

By March 20, 2018No Comments

Streaming grew 134% from last year’s opener (Alabama vs. USC).

The total live audience (TV and digital) was 12.6m with streaming accounting for 237k (2%).

Fun fact. The heart of Buckeye Nation clocks in at #3 in terms of market rankings for the Alabama/FSU game.

The big question. TV ratings for college football are stable/growing compared to the NFL. It will be interesting to see what happens with NFL ratings this weekend.
