“Political ad spend projections for 2020 are up $2bln over 2018, reaching $5.8bln according to Cross Screen Media’s CEO Michael Beach. Speaking at LiveRamp’s RampUp summit in NYC Wednesday, Beach said political advertising will hit 4-5% of the entire US video ad market, and 17% of all video ad growth. ‘Taking your targets and really optimizing your spend, there’s a lot of things that can be gained from that,” said Beach. ‘Prices move so fast in politics, that a plan you set a month before could end up pretty much worthless.’”
